I woke up to a rainy day. The light of a new day barely making through my window. Dreams fading as I become more aware of my room. I sit up in bed wondering how today will be diferent.
Clouds drift by as I walk down the street. I have no place to be but I keep moving on. The rain is gone but I can feel the damp heat rising all around me.
Time measured by the place in the sky occupied by the sun. I keep pace with the changing of the hour. I walk not to go somewhere but to be anywhere but home.
The night comes with stars and dreams. A moon seen through my window. Tomorrow will be here soon and I have no place to go.
I rest my head as dreams take me from where I am to places in my mind. I could remain here if it were real…
