Late Evening…

In the late hours of the day I browse my memory for something I lost to time. I hear the music and it makes me recall times gone.

Alone I find myself looking back over the years wondering where those people I met are now.

These hours spent living moments over again wondering what might have been if only I could have been the person I am becoming now.

Life goes on, like the beat of a good song, and we shall never be where we once were again.

Night brings dreams and an end to another day. Everything ends and in the end all we’ll have are memories.

So we must keep going on, looking forward, only to pause to remember times gone every now and again…
