A caged bird, a whisper of love lost, dreams and memories swirl above as the sun and moon transverse the canvas of the sky.
My mind lingers upon your smile, the taste of you, so many emotions as I recall the things done so long ago.
Counting stars as time progresses. If I could kiss you again and hold you in my hands I would.
Into memory I venture looking for moments we shared. If only I could live those moments again I’d linger repeating the moments again.
Now I walk alone wishing I had been more confident when you wanted me. I would have experienced more with you if I was less nervous.
