Sometimes I wake up alone after strange dreams and I feel like I’ve been somewhere but I’ve not been out of my room for days now.

I feel it in my bones, a need to be elsewhere, but here is all I have for now.

I miss so much that’s gone and I have no idea what I’m doing or where I’m going from here.

I’m misunderstood wherever I go but what can I do about my circumstances but cry the nights away.

I hear the words to another sad song and it makes me wonder if things will always be this way. I wonder if I’ll always be this alone.
