Tall towers rising above me, from the cold ground, standing against the elements.
I’m alone in a strange world surrounded by strangers with their own ways of seeing me.
I hold back tears of years of torment.
Did I love him or just need him, need to love him?
We were but we’re not now nor have we been for so long now.
I’m longing for my love song. I’ve been wrong and I’ve been wronged. I’m stronger, though I’m sometimes weaker. Seeker of something I have yet to find.
Remind me of the times I’ve not been alone but those moments were vapors in the wind.
