(The Writer magazine word of the day, 28-day word challenge)


You rewind the tape and eject it like a memory you want to forget. Erase the times you were broken with a magnet. Those days of easily forgetting are over, times have changed, and your generation look for ways to do away with the things you shouldn’t have said or done but it’s out there free like a bird singing your secrets.

Times have changed, you hold onto the past while the future is drifting away. I never know what to say when I am near you but I tell you thingw will be fine someday.
