(The Writer magazine word of the day, 28-day word challenge):

Beam:

Light, steel, heal, feel, peel, ‘till sight restored like a bright flash.

Follow the words, herds of words, to the conclusion of confusion when meaning is lost to a lack of context.

Beam, holding together what otherwise would collapse. I fight back memories of moments out of place when viewed after the moment loses its meaning.

I ramble to find what once would remind me of better times but now I find those moments were never as perfect as I once remembered them.
