A boy travels to a new town with his mom shortly after the death of his father, where he meets a teacher that may or may not be a ghost.
These stories of what may or may not have happened or are happening or could be happening if things like this happened are the stories of a fictitious town with fictitious people living ordinary lives in an less than ordinary town.

Jason: He moves to a new town with his mom
Mr. Jones: Ghost mentor and former teacher
Chad: Future boyfriend of Jason
Jason’s Mom
Jason walks into an empty classroom.
Mr. Jones walks into the room.
Jason: Are you the newspaper teacher?
Mr. Jones: Yes and you are Jason.
Jason: I’m looking forward to writing for the school paper.
Mr. Jones: Let’s take one step at a time. I’ll have you write one article but I’m not guaranteeing it’ll make the cut.
Jason: I’m ready for the challenge.
Mr. Jones: Let’s calm down. It’ll be a short article about the menu changes in the cafeteria.
Jason: I’m up for anything you have to throw at me.
Mr. Jones: Bring the completed article with you tomorrow after school.
Mr. Jones walks out.
Jason walks out excited.
